Over 1600 Americans were arrested by the FBI for being at the Capitol on January 6th, 2021. On January 20th, 2025 President Donald J. Trump issued a proclamation of Presidential pardon for most of the J6ers.
For 4 tortuous years countless Americans were being held, without a fair trial, in federal prisons all across our country. The horror stories of them being beaten, tortured, & malnourished are gut wrenching. They were even denied basic medical & religious services. Shockingly, they were denied due process, discovery & meetings with their attorneys. They were held in solitary confinement & unsanitary conditions for months on end. They were denied basic hygiene or human decency. They suffered through retaliation, discrimination & malicious intents to harm them.
Somehow, these Patriots, who carried the burden as Jan 6 political hostages, courageously found the resolve to raise their voices, together as one, & sing our beloved National Anthem. It began in protest of their unjust incarceration & inhumane conditions. Yet, this simple act has inspired an entire nation to stand & unite.
Join the fight for justice by singing with them. Stand in solidarity with them to help strengthen the American spirit, bring awareness to their just cause, and provide hope to those suffering. Their families gain strength to continue on because they see hope in America standing with one voice & one song, under God.

Early summer 2021, Richard "Bigo" Barnett started singing the Star Spangled Banner while incarcerated in the DC CTF in protest of their incarceration. The other DC inmates followed suit & it became a nightly routine.
K. Joseph "Pi" Thomas was arrested in May, 2021 for his presence at the Capitol on January 6th. By God's grace, he was awarded bond, despite facing numerous federal charges. Upon his release, he joined the Jan 6 community that formed around the political hostages & heard a recording of the J6 inmates singing the National Anthem from inside the DC Gulag. Moved in Spirit, this inspired Joseph to fight for their release & fair treatment by publicly singing with them, posting it online, & asking others to join singing along with the inmates. This was the birth of #Sing4Freedom.
Since then, it has grown into a national campaign. Countless Americans, patriots, political figures & celebrities have shown their support across the country at various gatherings, concerts, & events. Supporters have even interrupted a couple of Donald Trump’s rallies to protest the injustices happening within the country we love so much. People from around the world have stood in solidarity with the persecuted Jan 6 patriots by singing our anthem, too. Some as far as Japan, England, & Brazil.
Fight back against the corrupt, weaponized system assaulting innocent families for political gain! Post/share a recordings of you singing the National Anthem on social media with #Sing4Freedom.
